Bicyclist killed after being hit by two cars on Reveille Street

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was killed after being hit by two cars on Reveille Street on the night of Tuesday, June 8, the Houston Police Department reports.

According to the HPD, a blue Chevrolet Cruze and a black Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck were heading southbound near 3800 Reveille Street around 10:25 p.m.

The victim was riding a bicycle near the 7500 block of Park Place Boulevard when he began to cross Reveille Street. He was then hit by both vehicles. The unidentified bicyclist was declared dead at the scene.

A preliminary report indicates that both of the vehicles had a green light. Both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

An investigation into the crash remains open.
