Bicyclist dies after being hit by car on West Mount Houston Road

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist died after being hit by a car on West Mount Houston Road on the evening of Thursday, November 26, the Houston Police Department reports.
A 36-year-old bicyclist was crossing near 700 West Mount Houston Road when he, for unknown reasons, slowed or stopped in the road’s center lane. The driver of a white Mercedes R320, an unidentified woman, did not see the man and hit him.
The victim was declared dead at the scene. The woman remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No charges have been filed.
