Bicyclist dead after being struck by hit-and-run driver in NE Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A bicyclist was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in northeast Houston early this morning, according to KTRK.
The collision happened near C.E. King Parkway and Tidwell Road at about 4 a.m., when a driver collided with a man either riding or pushing a bicycle. The driver then fled the scene.
The victim died at the scene.
Authorities are searching for the suspect driver, and are hoping to find surveillance footage to aid in their investigation, which continues at this time.
