Belton — Saturday Night Crash on I-35 Resulted in Injuries

At least one person was hospitalized following a vehicle collision on Interstate 35, Saturday.
According to Belton Police department, the fatal crash which took place on on I-35 and 190 near Belton involved two vehicles. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time but responding officers confirmed that one person sustained injuries as a result of the accident. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment. The extent of his injuries has not been disclosed at this time.
No one else were injured.
Crew members said there was another crash involving six vehicles earlier in the evening.
Local investigators were called onto the scene to determine liability. It’s unclear what caused the accidents.
