Posted on Monday, July 22nd, 2019 at 6:42 am

Early Friday morning, July 19th, a vehicle collision which took place on Interstate 10 injured at least two people, according to a local news source.

Just before 3:30 a.m., local officers were dispatched on the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 near Highway 365 to assist in a crash. Details surrounding the incident are very limited at this time. However, emergency crews confirmed that two people sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the collision. They were both rushed to an area hospital where they received medical treatment.

No other injuries were reported.

The Beaumont Police Department was already requested at the scene to look into the case further. Anyone who has relevant information about the crash is encouraged to get in contact with the authorities.

Our deepest sympathies are with the family and friends of the injured victims. We pray for their speedy recovery.

In Texas, car collisions happen on a regular basis. Most of the time, these events result in injuries and fatalities. Victims involved in crashes are left to deal with life-threatening injuries, damages to property, and worse—emotional trauma. While accidents are fortuitous events that cannot be foreseen, they can be prevented if only drivers had simply put their complete attention on the road and taken their responsibility as drivers more seriously. This is why, despite conscious efforts by government to combat the increasing number of fatalities and injuries every year, crashes due to negligence is still on the rise.
