Beaumont – Two Killed in Highway 105 ID’d

Beaumont law enforcement officials have identified the two victims who were killed in a fatal car accident on Highway 106 last December 27th.
The fatalities were identified as 20-year-old Shane Hardy and 20-year-old Destiny Sells.
According to reports, Shane Hardy was driving a white Chevrolet along the westbound lane of Highway 105 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it drifted into the oncoming lanes and crashed into a black 2005 Mercury SUV and another vehicle described as red KIA sport utility vehicle. The impact caused the Chevrolet bursting into flames.
Two occupants in the Chevrolet, Hardy and his passenger Destiny Sells, sustained significant injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the black SUV also suffered from undisclosed injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital. He has not been identified at this time.
