Beaumont – Officer Hospitalized in Rollover Crash on Calder Avenue

The Beaumont Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle collision on Calder Avenue near Main Street, Monday evening.
According to initial reports, the incident happened at around 9:30 p.m. on Calder Ave. A police vehicle was reportedly responding to a crash when it went out of control and rolled over.
The impact of the crash left the officer with non-life-threatening injuries. He was taken to an area hospital where he was given further medical attention. His identification has not been disclosed at this time.
Area investigators are still determining the reason that caused the police officer to lose control of the car. The crash remains under investigation.
