Beaumont – Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 10 Kills 1

A Dayton man died after getting into a motorcycle collision on Interstate 10, early Monday morning.
At around 6:30 a.m., a motorcycle was reportedly speeding along the eastbound lanes of I-10 when it struck a concrete retaining wall near Magnolia Avenue. According to initial reports, the rider of the motorcycle was ejected from his bike and landed on the westbound lane where he got hit by a number of cars.
The motorcyclist died from the injuries he sustained from the crash. He is later identified as 30-year-old Stewart Dundee Henderson of Dayton.
Fortunately, no one else was injured.
Investigators arrived at the scene and discovered that the motorcycle was reported stolen in Houston. A handgun and a large quantity of narcotics were also found.
An investigation is underway.
