Beaumont – Darrell Henderson Killed in West Cardinal Drive

A 44-year-old rider passed away after a fatal bicycle versus vehicle collision on West Cardinal Drive near 4th Street, Friday night.
At around 10:30 p.m. last May 24, a vehicle was seen traveling along the southbound lane in the 3700 block of West Cardinal Drive when it struck a bicycle that had just entered the roadway. The bicyclist, identified as Darrell Henderson, 44, was pronounced dead by Beaumont EMS at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
Authorities did not release information about the driver of the vehicle who struck Henderson. Whether or not he remained at the scene remains unknown at this time.
