Baytown – Hit-and-run Crash on Highway 146

A man was hospitalized following a hit-and-run crash on Highway 146 near Alexander Drive, Saturday morning.
At around 11:00 a.m., a truck was parked on the side of the road, in the area of Hwy 146, when it was struck by another truck. The driver of the first truck sustained broken bones as a result of the crash. He was taken to Clear Lake Regional Hospital and has since been released. No identification was released at this time.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, the truck that struck the victim had escaped. A witness described the suspect vehicle as a tan four-door truck. Its make and model was not determined at this time.
