Ballinger – Victim of US Highway 83 Crash Identified

The woman who died in a car crash on US Highway 83 has been named by Ballinger local officials, Monday.
In an unspecified time last January 20th, police were dispatched to Hwy 83 in response to a call reporting a crash between two vehicles. Police said a 2018 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling along the highway when it crashed into a 2017 Nissan Amada. The driver of the Chevrolet was killed upon impact. She was identified as 60-year-old Susan Marie Rodriguez.
Meanwhile, two occupants in the Nissan were immediately taken to the nearest hospital where they received further medical attention. Their identification was not released withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
