Axtell – Two Injured in a Vehicle Collision on State Highway 31

Last Monday, a two-car crash that happened on State Highway 31 in Axtell injured at least two person, according to a local news source.
In an unspecified time last April 29, Texas Department of Public Safety officials responded to the scene of the crash on SH 31 near Farm to Market 2311 Road after receiving a call reporting a crash. Police said that a Nissan pickup truck was traveling along the southbound lanes when it ran a red light and collided with a Ford pickup truck. The impact of the collision left the drivers of both vehicles severely injured. They were rushed to a local hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
The Axtell Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No charges have been filed as of this writing.
