Authorities searching for suspect in fatal hit-and-run on the East Freeway

HOUSTON, TX – Authorities at the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a suspect in connection to a fatal hit-and-run that took place on the East Freeway last night.

An unidentified individual reportedly went and laid down near the 15400 block of the East Freeway just after 11 p.m. A suspect reportedly ran over the individual and did not stop to render aid. The victim was declared dead at the scene of the crash.

It is believed that the suspect was driving a black Ford F-150.
