Authorities searching for suspect in early May hit-and-run crash

HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is searching for a suspect in connection to a hit-and-run crash that took place on the morning of Saturday, May 8.
A 16-year-old boy was crossing the street near 11300 Fondren Road when he was struck by a vehicle of unknown make and model around 12:15 a.m. The driver did not stop at the scene of the crash.
The victim sustained a life-threatening head injury and a broken leg. He currently remains in the hospital in critical condition.
