Austin – Woman Hospitalized Following South Capital of Texas Hwy Collision

At least one person was sent to a hospital after a vehicle accident on South Capital of Texas Highway, Thursday evening.
According to the initial investigation, the incident occurred at around 9:35 p.m. at 2500 block of South Capital of Texas Hwy. Police did not provide much details about the crash but it was confirmed that a woman sustained life-threatening injuries from the force of the impact. She was rushed to a local hospital where she received further medical care. Authorities only identified her as a woman in her 20s.
No one else was injured.
The Austin Police Department arrived at the scene to investigate further. No charges have been made at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
