Austin – Solo-Vehicle Accident on Cameron Road

A man was sent to the hospital following a car accident on Cameron Road, early Saturday morning.
At around 3:00 a.m., local responders were dispatched to the intersection of Cameron Rd near Ferguson Ln to assist in a single-vehicle collision. According to the initial investigation, a vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when its driver lost control of the car and crashed. The operator of the car, only identified as a male driver in his 30s, had to be extricated from the wreckage. He was then rushed to the nearest hospital where he was given treatment. Emergency crews said his injuries were considered life-threatening.
Austin police have yet to determine the reason that caused the driver to lose control of his vehicle. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
