Austin – Saturday Night Crash on Interstate 35 Kills Teenager

A fatal car accident on Interstate 35 caused the death of a teenage, Saturday night, according to a local news source.
Just before 11:00 p.m., local troopers responded to 14000 block of North I-35 after they received a report about a crash involving a pedestrian. Police said that a red 2014 Honda Civic was heading north on the highway when it struck a male teenager crossing. The impact of the collision seriously injured the pedestrian. He was rushed to an area hospital for further care. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries a few hours after he was admitted.
Meanwhile, the Honda driver suffered from unknown injuries. He was also transported to a hospital where he was admitted to intensive care unit.
The Austin Police Department has yet to determine liability. The investigation is still in progress.
