Austin – Pedestrian Killed after Getting Hit by Car on East Braker Lane

Last Sunday, a man died after getting struck by a vehicle on East Braker Lane in Austin, according to a local news source.
At around 2:20 a.m., Austin responding officers were dispatched to East Braker Ln near Dessau Road following reports of a crash involving a pedestrian. Police said a female pedestrian, identified only as a man in his 20s, was reportedly walking along the roadway when he was hit by a passing car. The impact seriously injured the victim, killing him on scene.
No one else was injured.
The driver of the vehicle involved stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the authorities.
Austin local investigators have yet to determine liability.
