Austin – One injured following a crash on Capital of Texas Highway

A fatal pedestrian versus car accident sent one person to a hospital on Capital Texas Highway, reports say.
At around 9:37 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS responded to the scene after receiving a call reporting a crash at the 3600 block of Capital of Texas Highway. How the collision took place remains unknown but it was reported that at least one pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries. He was rushed to St. David’s South for treatment. His identification was not released.
Local firefighters were also requested at the site to assist in the clearing. No charges have been filed as the investigation is underway.
