Austin – Motorcycle Collision on West Howard Lane

A motorcycle accident on West Howard Lane caused the death of one person, Tuesday evening.

Just after 9:00 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS were dispatched to the intersection of Metric Boulevard near W Howard Ln to assist in a crash involving a motorcycle and a car. How the crash took place remains under investigation but it was confirmed that the rider of the motorcycle suffered from significant injuries. He died shortly after the crash. The victim was only identified as a man in his 20s.

No one else was injured

Responding officers did not release information about the driver of the vehicle involved. The investigation is still in progress.
