Austin – Motorcycle Collision on FM 2222

The Austin Police Department has yet to release additional information about a motorcycle accident on Farm to Market Road 2222, last Monday night.
A preliminary investigation shows that the incident happened on FM 2222 near RM 620 in West Austin. A black Honda CRB motorcycle was seen heading east on the roadway when, for reasons that had not been determined, it veered off the roadway and crashed. The impact of the collision left the motorcycle rider with serious injuries. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
He was only identified as 38-year-old male driver.
No one else was injured, as per authorities.
Anyone with information regarding this case should call APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
