Austin – Motorcycle Accident on Springdale Road

At least one person died after a deadly motorcycle crash on Springdale Road in east Austin, Saturday night.

Just before 9:00 p.m., Austin-Travis County EMS crews were called onto the intersection of Webberville and Springdale Road to assist in a collision involving a motorcycle. Details surrounding the incident are very limited at this time. Emergency crews said that a person, identified only as a man in his 20s, suffered critical injuries from the impact of the crash. He was transported to Dell Seton Medical Center where was pronounced dead at the hospital.

No other injuries were reported.

Austin local investigators arrived at the scene to determine the cause of the accident. Further details will follow once the investigation has been completed.
