Austin – Michael Cannatti Killed in Fatal Crash on Jollyville Road

At least one person died as a result of a collision on Jollyvile Road in Austin, last April 17.

According to initial reports, an undescribed vehicle was seen traveling along the northbound lanes of Jollyvile when, for reasons that had not been determined, it went out of control and struck the driver’s side of another car. The impact of the collision left an occupant in the second vehicle with serious injuries. He was rushed to St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center where he was pronounced dead by medical crews.

Authorities later identified the victim as 70-year-old Michael Cannatti.

No other injuries were reported at this time.

Further details will be released as the investigation is still in progress.
