Austin – Five People Injured in Maha Loop Rd

At least five people were sent to the hospital following a major car accident on Maha Loop Road in Austin, according to a local news source.
According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at around 5:26 p.m. in the 11400 block of Maha Loop Rd. When authorities arrived at the scene, they found a number of vehicles that had collided with each other. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time.
Five occupants in the vehicles involved sustained injuries that were considered to be non-life-threatening. They were all taken to a nearby hospital where they received proper medical attention. Responding officers did not release their identification but they confirmed that two of the victims were children.
No charges have been made as the crash remains under investigation.
