Austin – Daminik Lopez ID’d Victim of East Parmer Ln

Austin local officials have identified the 9-year-old victim who died in a fatal car accident on East Parmer Lane last Monday, according to a news source.
The fatality was identified as Daminik Lopez, 9.
Based on the initial report, the incident happened at around 9:18 p.m. on Monday, March 30th. A gray 2008 Mercedes-Benz ML3 was heading east in the 5500 block of E Parmer Lane when it collided with silver 2009 Hummer H3 that was also traveling along the eastbound lanes. The impact seriously injured two children passengers in the Hummer. They were both taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas where one of the victim, Daminik Lopez, succumbed to her injuries. The other victim has yet to be identified.
Area investigators believed that alcohol may have played a factor in the incident.
