Austin – Auto Collision on Springdale Road Injures 5

A multi-vehicle collision on Springdale Road in northeast Austin sent three people to a hospital, a local news source reported.
According to initial reports, the accident took place at around 8:30 p.m. at Springdale Road and Tuscany Way. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed at least five people sustained various injuries caused by the collision. Three adults, including a child, were all rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment. Authorities said that all of them suffered from serious injuries.
Another person was hurt but he was not taken to a hospital for treatment. It was not confirmed if he received medical care at the scene.
Investigators arrived at the scene to gather information about the incident. The crash is still under investigation.
