Austin – Aric Maxwell ID’d Victim of Car Accident on Interstate 35

A 46-year-old man died after getting struck by a vehicle on Interstate 35, last Easter morning, according to a local news source.
A preliminary investigation indicates that a man was seen crossing the northbound lanes of Interstate 35 when he was hit by a 2016 silver Chevy Equinox that was heading north. Emergency crews were immediately dispatched to the scene after receiving a report at around 10:38 a.m.
The pedestrian, identified as 46-year-old Aric Maxwell, was taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment of his injuries. Unfortunately, he was declared dead at a later time.
The driver of the Equinox remained on scene and showed no signs of impairment. No charges are expected to be filed.
