Austin – 28-year-old Leslie Valderrama Died in Rear-End Crash on East Ben White Boulevard

A 28-year-old passenger was pronounced deceased after the vehicle she was in got into an accident on East Ben White Boulevard in Southeast Austin, early Sunday morning.
The fatality was identified as 28-year-old Leslie Valderrama.
At around 12:15 a.m., the Austin Police Department responded to the 4600 block of East Ben White Boulevard, near the Burleson Road intersection to assist in a collision. According to the initial report, a 2012 Nissan Altima was heading west on the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it rear-ended a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe. The force of the impact left the passenger, Leslie Valderrama, with serious injuries. She was immediately taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased at 3:27 a.m., police said.
No one else was injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
