Austin – 1 Injured in Auto Collision on Highway 290

At least one person was hospitalized following a vehicle accident on Texas Highway 290, Tuesday.

Just after 6:00 a.m., local troopers were dispatched to Highway 290 near Johnny Morris Road. When they arrived at the scene, they found three vehicles and a truck with extensive damages. One of the drivers involved in the crash sustained injuries as a result of the accident. He was given treatment by emergency medical crews who arrived at the scene. The extent of his injuries was not immediately determined.

Austin law enforcement officials were also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the accident. No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
