Aubrey – Bicyclist Struck by Car on University Drive

A 49-year-old bicyclist was killed after getting into an accident with a vehicle on East University Drive, Monday morning.

Based on the initial investigation, the bicycle collision happened at around 4:00 a.m. A bicycle rider was seen traveling along US Highway 380 when he was hit by a passing car on Farm to Market Road 720. The rider, identified only as a male bicyclist, was rushed to Medical City Denton with significant injuries. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress. Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with the Aubrey Police Department.
