At least one seriously injured in early-morning Baytown crash

BAYTOWN, TX – At least one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition after a crash early in the Baytown area early this morning, according to a tweet by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened at 7208 Decker Dr and was reported by HCSO at 12:13 a.m.
While the exact circumstances are unknown at this time, it appears that a dark-colored sedan was involved and was shown with heavy damage in photos posted by HCSO.
The driver of the vehicle was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries.
The accident caused authorities to shut down the ramp to I-10 for a period of time.
