At least one person killed in crash on Southwest Fwy and Bissonett St

HOUSTON, TX – At least one person was killed during a crash on the Southwest Freeway last night, according to the Houston Police Department.

The accident happened on the Southwest Freeway, near Bissonett Street, before 6:15 p.m.
At least one person, who was not immediately identified, was killed during the accident.
The cause of the crash was not available.
HPD closed the Bissonett feeder road as they worked the accident. Drivers were advised to avoid the area and to use alternate routes, as delays were likely.
