At least 1 person dead in fiery truck accident on Hwy 59 in Sugar Land

SUGAR LAND, TX – At least one person was killed in a fiery 18-wheeler collision on the feeder road for Highway 59 this morning, according to KTRK.
The crash happened on the feeder road for northbound US-59, near Crabb River Road, at about 7 a.m., and involved at least a pickup truck and an 18-wheeler truck, which overturned in the crash.
Both of those vehicles caught fire after the collision.
The pickup truck’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured.
