Arlington – Motorcycle Accident on South Cooper St

Last Friday, a fatal motorcycle crash on South Cooper Street caused the death of one person, according to a local news source.

Just before 5:00 p.m., a collision was reported in the 1900 block of S Cooper St near Inwood Drive.

A motorcycle was heading north on Cooper when it collided with a white Ford F-250 pickup truck that was making a turn towards Inwood Dr. The operation, who was only identified as an 18-year-old male motorcyclist, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford was not harmed from the crash.

Based on the initial investigation, the operator of the motorcycle was traveling at an unsafe speed prior to the accident. It was not confirmed if alcohol played a factor.

This is a developing story.
