Arlington – 7-year-old Injured by a Car on Green Oaks Boulevard

The Arlington Police Department has released the name of the boy who got struck by a vehicle on Green Oaks Boulevard, Friday afternoon.
The victim was identified as Curtis “C.J.” Moore, 7.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 3:00 p.m. near a grocery store. Moore was walking with three cousins along Green Oaks Boulevard, near Ascension Boulevard, when he was struck by a passing vehicle. Moore fractured his leg and ankle from the impact of the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the involved vehicle was no longer at the scene when area authorities arrived. His identification and whereabouts remain unknown at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
