Andrews – David Mendiola Jr. Died in a Crash Involving a Tractor-Trailer on SH 115

A pickup truck driver was killed in a deadly accident involving a tractor-trailer on State Highway 115, Saturday morning.
According to initial reports, the incident happened just before 5:00 a.m. Details on how the crash took place remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that a tractor-trailer and a pickup truck were involved. Authorities said that the pickup, for yet unknown reasons, crossed the center line and struck the tractor.
The impact of the collision killed David Mendiola Jr. It was not determined if he’s driving the vehicle or an occupant. He was wearing a seat belt when the crash happened.
No other injuries were reported at this time.
