Andrews—63-year-old New Mexico Man Killed in Tuesday Crash

Last Tuesday morning, a fatal car accident took place on State Highway 176 near Farm to Market Road 181, according to a police news release.
The Texas Department of Safety responded to the intersection of Highway 176 and FM 181 after receiving a call reporting a crash at around 9:27 a.m. Based on the report, the wreck involved at least two truck tractors. One truck tractor was heading south on the highway when it failed to give way at the intersection and crashed into another truck.
Both of the drivers sustained various injuries from the impact. Unfortunately, the first driver was then pronounced dead at the scene by local paramedics. He was identified as 63-year-old Custis Cobb from New Mexico. The second driver, identified as 61-year-old Napoleon Espinosa-Morales sustained injuries that were considered as non-life threatening. He was rushed to a medical center for treatment.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still ongoing.
