Anderson County – Victim of Solo-Vehicle Collision on CR 153 Identified

Anderson County law enforcement officials have released the name of the victim who died in a fatal auto crash on County Road 153, early Saturday morning.

The fatality was identified as Cammie Elizabeth Reynolds, 29, of Elkhart.

According to police reports, Reynolds was driving a 2013 Nissan Altima along the southbound lanes on CR 153, east of Elkhart, when she suddenly drove off the roadway and crashed into a tree. The impact of the crash killed Reynolds instantly. A preliminary investigation shows the Nissan driver was not wearing a seat belt during the time of the crash.

No one else was injured.

Local investigators were requested at the scene to determine the reason why Reynolds lost control of her car. The crash is still under investigation by Anderson County Police Department.
