Amarillo – Woman Died in Pedestrian Crash on Georgia St

A 20-year-old woman was struck and killed by a car on South Georgia Street last March 25th, according to Amarillo police.

Just before 10:00 p.m., police responded to South Georgia St following reports of a crash. A woman was seen walking along the roadway when a passing pickup truck struck her. Emergency crews immediately transported the pedestrian to the hospital but later died. She was identified as 20-year-old Sasha Alexander Davidson.

The driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. He was only identified as a 41-year-old man.

The Amarillo Police Department Traffic Investigation Squad was also requested at the scene to assist in the clearing. No charges have been made at this time.
