Amarillo – Victim of State Loop 335 Crash ID’d

Amarillo law enforcement officials have released the name of the victim who died in a fatal car accident on State Loop 335 last Saturday.
The fatality was identified as 67 year old Martin Rozier lll. He was a resident of Pampa.
According to initial reports, Rozier was driving along the westbound lane of State Loop 335, just east of Amarillo, when a semi-truck suddenly pulled into the road, prompting a crash. Police said Rozier swerved to avoid the truck but he ended up sliding into the trailer. The force of the impact left him with fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
Based on a preliminary investigation, the driver of the semi-truck failed to yield to the right of way.
No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
