Amarillo – Pedestrian Died Following North Mirror Street Crash

A man was killed after getting hit by a hit-and-run driver on North Mirror Street, Sunday morning.
At around 3:30 a.m., Amarillo local firefighters responded to 900 block of North Mirror Street following reports of a crash. According to the initial report, a Chevrolet Camaro was seen traveling along the roadway when it struck a man. The force of the impact left the victim with serious injuries. He was already lifeless when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
The Amarillo Police Department has yet to identify the suspect who struck the pedestrian. Anyone who has seen a yellow Chevrolet Camaro vehicle is encouraged to get in touch with investigators.
An investigation is underway.
