Amarillo – Darayvion Todd Struck and Killed bu Hit-and-Run Driver on Mirror St

A fatal pedestrian collision, which involved a hit-and-run driver, caused the death of one person on North Mirror Street last January 26th.
The fatality was recently identified as 20-year-old Darayvion Montrel Todd.
According to initial reports, the incident took place at around 3:30 a.m. in the 900 block of N Mirror St. Darayvion Todd was seen near the said location when a passing yellow Chevrolet Camaro hit him. The impact knocked Todd to the ground, leaving him seriously injured. When emergency crews arrived at the scene, the victim had already succumbed to his injuries.
No one else was injured.
Amarillo responding authorities said the driver of Camaro was no longer on scene when they arrived. His identification and whereabouts remain unclear at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
