Amarillo – Bus Collision on Loop 335 Leaves 1 Injured

At least one person was hospitalized after a bus accident on Loop 335 in south Amarillo, Wednesday morning.
At around 7:30 a.m., DPS local troopers responded to Loop 335 near Georgia Street after receiving a call reporting a crash. According to the report, the incident involved a bus, leaving the driver of the bus injured. He was rushed to the hospital with injuries that were considered non-life threatening. His identification was withheld pending notification of his immediate family.
No one else was injured, as per initial reports.
The Amarillo Police Department was also requested at the scene to assist in the clearing and investigation. Further details surrounding the accident remain unclear at this time as the investigation is still in progress.
