Alvin – Woman Killed in FM 1462 Collision Identified

Alvin law enforcement officials have released the name of the woman who passed away following a deadly car accident on Farm to Market Road 1462, reports said.

The fatality was identified as 61-year-old Marie Borne.

Just before 11:00 p.m., Borne was seen driving along the eastbound lane of Farm to Market Road 1642, last November 25th, when, for reasons that had not been determined, she crashed into a passing Peterbilt truck tractor that was hauling a trailer. The impact of the crash left Borne with significant injuries. She was immediately taken to Clear Lake Regional Hospital where she later succumbed to the injuries incurred from the crash.

The driver of the truck was not injured.

Police have yet to determine liability. No charges have been made as of this writing.
