All lanes blocked following 5-vehicle crash on Gulf Fwy.

HOUSTON, TX – A major crash shut down all lanes on the Gulf Freeway in southeast Houston last night.

According to a tweet by Houston Police, the crash took place at about 9 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway, near the exit to Broadway Street.

It is unclear what led up to the crash at this time. However, police confirmed at least five vehicles were involved.

It is unclear if anyone was hurt as an immediate result of the crash. Our team will update this blog with the latest information, should it be made publicly available.
