Alamo – Multi-Car Collision on Cesar Chavez Road

One person was pronounced deceased after a multi-vehicle accident took place on Cesar Chavez Road near Tower Road, last Thursday.

At around 11:00 a.m., the incident happened on Expressway 83 between Tower Road and Cesar Chavez Road. How the crash happened is yet to be determined by local officials but it was confirmed that at least three cars were involved in the accident. Following the collision, one person sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by emergency who responded to the scene. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

No other injuries were reported.

The Alamo Police Department was also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident. Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to get in contact with authorities.

An investigation is still in progress.
