Alamo – Motorcycle Collision on Highway 2

A Sunday morning crash on Interstate Highway 2 in Alamo resulted in the death of an Alamo resident, according to a local news source.
Just before 6:00 a.m., local responding officers responded to a crash that took place at the 1300 block of west frontage road of Interstate Highway 2 near Farm to Market Road 907. A preliminary investigation shows that a motorcycle and another vehicle were involved in the collision. However, when police arrived at the scene, the suspect had already escaped.
The motorcyclist, identified only as a 46-year-old Alamo man, sustained fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased when emergency crews arrived at the scene.
No one else was reportedly injured.
Information about the incident remained limited as of this writing. An investigation is still in progress.
