Accident causes delays on I-69 in downtown Houston

HOUSTON, TX – Rush-hour commuters in downtown Houston faced major delays following a Tuesday morning crash.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the crash was first reported at about 9:30 a.m. on the inbound side of the Eastex Freeway, near I-45.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, no injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash.

Traffic was reported in the area going back to I-10 for about 15 minutes. All lanes were reopened by 9:45 p.m.
