Accident blocks multiple lanes on I-45 in SE Houston

HOUSTON, TX – At least two lanes were shut down following a Thursday afternoon crash on Houston’s southeast side.

According to a report by Total Traffic Houston, the incident was reported at about 1:50 p.m. in the outbound lanes of the freeway, near Broadway Street.

The circumstances that led up to the crash are not clear at this time.

Two left lanes were shut down for some time after the crash while emergency crews worked to clear the roadway.
