Accident blocks 2 lanes on Sam Houston Pkwy. at Hollister St.

HOUSTON, TX – At least two lanes were shut down following a collision on Houston’s northwest side this evening.

According to Total Traffic Houston, the crash took place at about 5:30 p.m. on the westbound side of the freeway, near the Hollister Street overpass.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are not mentioned in the report. However, at least two lanes were blocked for some time afterward while first responders worked to clear the scene.

No injuries were reported as an immediate result of the crash.
